In a worldwide business world, where the stakes and restraints are more and more complex and mitigating, innovation and efficiency are key factors of success in International Trade.
Supply chain and Logistics functions represent about 15 % of GNP of developed countries in 2020. The 2030 expectations are about 20 % of Supply chain share of GNP.
The Supply chain Manager plays a major role in the value chain of procurement, manufacturing and distribution of products and services. Actors of Supply Chain Management are key contributors in coordinating and enabling three international flows: goods and services, finance, information.
Supply Chain Management is on the edge of evolution of more efficient mastering through digitalization in order to follow-up production and transport in real time. This allows a global and immediate tracking of goods from raw materials to finished products.
Looking for future economy, supply chain managers will be core players integrated in business development of their company.
Major skills to be mastered are global vision, flexibility, pro activity based on accurate knowledge of Supply Chain Strategies, Concepts, Lean Management, Procurement, Planning, and International Trade.
The MBA in International Supply Chain Management provides with the mandatory training and understanding for a successful career in Supply Chain Management. It covers high level core courses, enabling students to develop the know how necessary to be an efficient supply chain manager. In addition, students may attend specific courses dedicated to APICS Certification (CLTD – Certified in Logistics Transport and Distribution).
This APICS Certification is required now in the most upgraded high-level functions in Supply Chain especially in Big 40 companies.
